EOTC

At Miller Avenue School we believe that Education Outside of the Classroom is just as important as  what we learn between four walls.  Experiencing new environments and the real world is essential for our students to become well rounded, confident learners and members of society. 

Last year we arranged trips to a variety of locations including:

• Aongatete Outdoor Adventure Centre (where we participated in archery, climbing and conservation activities)

• Rainbow's End

• Waihi Gold

• Goldfields Heritage Railway

• Matariki Ki Hauraki 

• Hamilton Museum

• Paeroa Bowling Club

• Paeroa Swimming Pool

In 2026 we plan to expand our EOTC programme and also have exciting plans for a school camp.
