Music, Arts and Drama

We've revamped our music, arts and drama programmes in 2026, offering a range of exciting activities and events for our tamariki. We want every child to find an activity that they love!  Music lessons are offered  by a professional tutor/s in our lovely and well equipped music room. Inter-class singing competitions of popular songs are held and arts sessions are being offered some lunchtimes.

Music lessons at school for all budding rockstars!

Rapid Rockstar Music Academy are offering lessons in guitar, drums, ukulele, and bass, taught by experienced and friendly tutors at our school. Lessons run on a consistent weekly schedule and are structured to work smoothly within the school environment. The programme is designed to be engaging, structured, and age-appropriate, with a strong focus on building confidence, musicianship, performance opportunities, and enjoyment of music.

A few times each term, Matua Derek visits all classes with Spotify and his speaker to see which class sings popular songs best and loudest!
